“I had been wanting to take my mom on a yoga retreat for some time now – it was something that neither of us had ever done before but we both needed to reset our lives. I am so thankful to have found Berny, Bianca, and Ale; this was no regular yoga retreat, this was an entire experience of renewal. There was so much thought put into the design of the Ka’Kuxtal retreat with peaceful sunrise meditations amongst the songbirds of the forest, ashtanga yoga sessions that pushed us to reconnect with our bodies and minds, the unique ceremonies which helped us to solidify the intentions we set and were at the core of the renewal process, the music which we still sing to ourselves at home, and the delicious and healthy meals that we shared as a group. There is one thing in particular that I must commend the group for: my mom was very nervous having no prior yoga experience but Berny and Bianca were so accommodating and customized the yoga experience to fit her needs and physical ability. She felt included and loved from the beginning. It was so kind and I am so grateful for their care. Thank you again for a rare experience that changed both of our lives.
